Mrs. Delisa Rodgers-Fields is an apostle and prophet. She founded The Love Church Charlotte after thirteen years of senior pastoring True Love Church of Refuge. “TLCC” is one of Charlotte’s authentic apostolic and prophetic training centers where men and women of God from all walks of life have gathered to be discipled, equipped, and established in their calls. Delisa is a tireless laborer in the Body of Christ serving as the president and senior instructor of The Love Church Apostolic College, founder of the Prophetic Mentoring and Counseling Resource Center, President of It’s All About Him Media & Publishing, CEO of the T-Shirt Company of Charlotte, Senior Mentor in her Prophetic Mentoring and Counseling FB Group, a prolific teacher, and shepherd after God’s own heart.
Delisa served eleven years in her father's Pentecostal church and was recognized as a prophetess, teacher, and intercessor. She served many roles including treasurer and administrator. God called Delisa into pastoral ministry in April 2004 and she began her first church several months later in July 2004. Delisa was commissioned in the five fold office as a prophet in April 2005 and as an apostle in July 2017. Delisa is humbly submitted to her apostolic father, Apostle Ivory Hopkins, the "General" of Deliverance of Pilgrim's Ministry of Deliverance, Harbeson, DE, and to her mentors, Apostles Theadford and Ernestine Brinkley, Deliverance Tabernacle of praise, Rocky Mount, NC.
Delisa has traveled extensively overseas and throughout the U.S. preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom. She is a spiritual mother and mentor to many with a genuine heart to see God’s people delivered, set free, and released into their prophetic destinies.
Delisa holds an associate degree in Religious Studies, a bachelor’s degree, and a Master’s in Theology from Tripp Bible Institute. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Human Service Studies from Queens University of Charlotte. Delisa is actively pursuing her doctorate in Theology and is pursuing her Master’s in Educational Leadership.
Committed to mental health, Delisa is a life-time member of the National Association of Christian Counselors, a Certified Prison Chaplain, a member of the National Organization of Human Services, and a member of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
Delisa is pursuing her Certificate in Christian Counseling and holds pastoral counseling sessions in the evenings for substance use and marriage therapy.
Delisa is gainfully employed in her local public-school system as a program coordinator for at-risk students. Apostle Delisa is married to her high school sweetheart, Elder Clyde Fields, rearing their five beautiful children in the admonition of the Lord.
